The Cape Cod Reading Council is a professional non-profit organization whose membership is dedicated to promoting literacy and best teaching practices in reading. CCRC is one of eleven Massachusetts councils and serves Cape Cod and the islands of Nantucket and Martha’s Vineyard. Membership is open to teachers, administrators, consultants, advocates, parents, and all others interested in promoting literacy as a life-long learning practice. Meetings, special events, newsletters, the website, and networking are some of the ways members can learn and share about literacy. Cape Cod Reading Council is affiliated with the Massachusetts Reading Association (MRA) and the International Literacy Association (ILA).
